Run The Hook 5K/10K - Sandy Hook National Park, NJ
Run The Hook is scheduled for May 10, 2026 at Sandy Hook National Park in Highlands, New Jersey. The event features multiple running distances and a separate Kids Run open to ages 5 to 12; kids distances are to be announced.

- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Kids Run for ages 5-12, distances TBA
All runners receive a commemorative pint glass and a t shirt. The course is a closed course within Sandy Hook National Park and results are chip timed. The 10K has a 90 minute course limit. Bibs will be assigned at check-in.
The event limits attendance to 600 runners. There is a priority registration period exclusively for 2024 and 2025 participants from February 17 to February 19, and a general on sale beginning February 19. A portion of proceeds supports Clean Ocean Action. The race is organized as a single-use plastic free event.
Advanced bib and shirt pick up is available at Road Runner Sports on May 9 from 11:00 to 14:00. Same day pick up is available in the start/finish area beginning at 7:00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
