Run The Hook 5K/10K
The 11th annual Run The Hook is a race with 5 km and 10 km distances. It takes place at Sandy Hook National Park in New Jersey.
A portion of the proceeds from the race supports the non-profit organization Clean Ocean Action. The event describes itself as a single-use plastic free event.
Participants receive a t-shirt and a commemorative pint glass upon finishing. The race uses chip timing and takes place on a closed course within the park. The location is on a peninsula less than one mile wide, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and Sandy Hook Bay.
