The SEAS 5K Running for Faith to Build Our Future is a 5th annual 5K fun run taking place on April 18, 2026, in Bakersfield, California. The event is held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 12300 Reina Rd, and the run begins from the church. The fun run is hosted by the MOMS at SEAS ministry and benefits the church Building Fund.
Participation and logistics
Registration opens January 1, 2026. The listed entry fee for the 5K event is $48.70 (includes a $3.70 fee). Adult registration includes a T-shirt when registered by March 31, 2026, and a pancake breakfast; youth registration includes a souvenir medal and a pancake breakfast. A pancake breakfast is also available for separate purchase at Masses or on the day of the event. Raffle baskets will be sold during the breakfast and displayed at packet pickup.
Packet pickup is scheduled at the church on the day before the race, with a later pickup option on race day at the church back patio. Awards are given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in male and female divisions for these age categories: 12 and under; 13-17; 18-34; 35-54; and 55+. Winner medals are donated by Raymond's Trophy.
