Bakersfield Mother's Day Run: 3rd Annual
The Bakersfield Mother’s Day Run takes place on May 10, 2026, at The Park at River Walk in Bakersfield, CA 93311. The event offers in-person running and walking options as well as a virtual entry.
Event distances and formats:
- 5k Run (3.1 miles)
- 2k walk, approximately 1 mile, not timed
- Virtual Run, completed individually at any location
Registration and fees are provided for each entry type. Registration for the in-person events opens July 31, 2025 and closes February 24, 2026; the registration fee for the 5k and the 2k walk is $35. Virtual registration opens July 31, 2025 and closes May 11, 2026; the virtual entry fee is $55.
Additional event details note that the 2k walk is a non-timed event and will not have age group awards. Virtual run participants complete their run on their own schedule; virtual results are not posted and are not official. Virtual participants will receive an event shirt and finisher medal by mail within two weeks after the event.
