Autism on the Run
Autism on the Run takes place on April 11, 2026 at The Park at Riverwalk in Bakersfield, California. The event offers multiple run and walk options and includes an in-person family walk and a virtual 5K.

- Family Walk - up to five people, one medal per registrant in the same household

Entry pricing listed by the organizer includes a per-person rate that covers a shirt and a medal for the 2K, 5K, and 10K. A family rate covers five medals and one swag bag; shirts are not included with the family discount.
The event benefits H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection Family Empowerment Center. The center’s stated mission is to enhance the quality of life for people with special needs through a family-directed resource center that represents professionalism, dignity, compassion, and respect. Its vision is to help build a community that is more comfortable with and accepting of people with special needs.
Packet pickup is scheduled on several days surrounding the event at Hearts Connection and at The Park at Riverwalk. The event program includes vendors, family activities, and raffles.
