2026 Scouting America Half Marathon & Tenderfoot 5K
Date: Aug 29, 2026. Location: Wood County Fairgrounds, 13800 W Poe Rd, Bowling Green, OH 43402.
The Scouting America Half Marathon has been held since 2009 and is presented as a tune up race for fall marathon training. The half marathon tours Bowling Green and is organized as a measured road event. The half marathon course is open for three hours, the maximum field is 300 entries, and the minimum age to enter is 13.
The Tenderfoot 5K is a 3.1 mile walk or run that finishes in front of the pancake breakfast shelter on the fairgrounds. The 5K course is open for one hour, the maximum field is 200 entries, and the minimum age to enter is 6.

All participants receive an all you can eat pancake breakfast served by area Scouters as part of race registration. Additional pancake breakfasts are available for family and friends for $10.
