Course and race services
The half marathon follows a generally flat route through a college downtown area and includes industrial sections, downtown streets, wooded bike paths, a golf course neighborhood, and City Park. Water stops are staffed by area scout troops in uniform. A post-race refreshment zone includes chocolate milk and fresh fruit. Scout troops provide a pancake breakfast included with registration.
Entries, age limits and support
Minimum ages on race day are 13 for the half marathon and 6 for the 5K. The course open windows are stated as 3 hours for the half marathon and 1 hour for the 5K. Pacers are offered for a range of target finish times. Awards are planned for overall, masters (40+), grand masters, and age-group top finishers; a course-record bonus is listed for new records in the half, 10k, or 5k.
