5K Beer Run/Walk at Brewing Green
The event is an untimed fun run of approximately 5K that begins and finishes at Brewing Green in Bowling Green, Ohio. The course runs through the streets of Bowling Green, is open to regular traffic, and will be marked with arrows. Roads will not be closed during the event, so participants are responsible for following traffic laws and local regulations.
Participants aged 21 and older are eligible to receive a complimentary craft beer from Brewing Green upon finishing; valid photo identification is required to claim alcoholic beverages. Underage participants receive a token for a free nonalcoholic beverage. As part of event registration, participants receive a choice of a collector's pint glass or a seasonal Brewery Running Series swag item. Door prizes such as brewery merchandise or beer may be awarded.
The event is organized by Ohio Brewery Running Series. A portion of registration fees will support local nonprofits; specifically, 10% of registration fees will be directed to organizations such as the Brown Bag Food Project.
