5K Beer Run/Walk at Brewing Green
The Ohio Brewery Running Series is hosting an untimed run and walk at Brewing Green in Bowling Green, Ohio. The event features an approximately 5k course that starts from the brewery taproom and follows marked arrows through the streets of Bowling Green. The course remains open to traffic, so participants are required to obey all traffic laws and regulations.
After the finish, participants receive a free craft brew from Brewing Green and a choice of a collector pint glass or a seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series. There are door prizes that may include merchandise or beer. Participants who are not 21 receive a token for a free nonalcoholic beverage; a valid ID is required to consume alcoholic beverages.
Dogs and strollers are permitted on the course, with a reminder to use caution and consider the safety of pets and children. A portion of registration proceeds supports local nonprofits; 10 percent of registration fees will go to organizations such as the Brown Bag Food Project.
