SATURN TOO Ooops I Ran It Again - Wales
This is a seven hour time challenge held at Dare Valley Country Park. Runners and walkers choose how far to go within the time limit. The course uses well maintained public footpaths with countryside views and is suitable for road trainers. Course details may be adjusted after a health and safety review.
Distances and lap structure:
- Minimum distance 3 km, part of a lap.
- Full lap approximately 7 km or 4.37 miles, may change to a 3.28 mile loop.
- 3 km and 5 km turn points provided for younger runners.
- Half marathon equals 3 laps, marathon 6 laps, ultra 7 or more laps, 50 km distance available.
Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal. Distance pins are issued for half marathon, mega half, marathon, 50 km and ultra achievements and are attached to the medal ribbon. All finishers receive a goody bag; a vegan goody bag option is available.
An aid and drinks table is located at the start and finish of each lap with a selection of snacks and vegan options. Toilets and a cafe are available at the venue; there are no separate changing rooms or showers. Free parking is provided. A non secure bag area is available at the start finish.
Transfers and deferrals are allowed for a fee. Participants must follow UK Athletics age restrictions; anyone wishing to run over 45 km must be at least 20 years old. The event is organised by Saturn Too Limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
