Event Overview
The Saturn 7 Hour Time Challenge - Ooops I Ran It Again takes place at Dare Valley Country Park in Wales. This event uses a timed format where participants have up to seven hours to complete their chosen distance. The course consists of laps on well-maintained footpaths surrounded by countryside views. Participants can choose to dress in outfits inspired by Britney Spears.
Course and Distances
The route is situated on flat trail paths suitable for road running shoes. A standard full lap is 7 km (4.37 miles), though this may be adjusted to a 3.28 mile loop depending on ground conditions. Runners and walkers can complete as many or as few laps as they wish within the time limit. Specific distances include:
- 3 km
- 5 km
- 7 km
- Half Marathon (3 laps)
- Marathon (6 laps)
- 50 km
- Ultra (7+ laps)
The event includes 3 km and 5 km turn points within the lap to accommodate younger runners.
Participant Support and Facilities
An aid station is located at the start and finish of every lap, offering water, squash, and a variety of sweet and savoury snacks, including vegan options. The venue provides free parking, public toilets, and a cafe located near the race headquarters. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers. A non-secure bag storage area is available at the start/finish line.
Finisher Recognition
Registered participants who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal and a goody bag. Specific distance pins are awarded to those who complete a Half-Marathon, Marathon, 50 km, or Ultra distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
