SATURN TOO - Ooops I Ran It Again - Wales
This is a seven hour timed running event held at Dare Valley Country Park. Participants may run or walk as many laps as they wish within the seven hour period. The regular course runs on well maintained footpaths and offers views of the surrounding countryside; the precise course may be adjusted after a health and safety review.
Distances
- Minimum distance 3 km.
- Full lap approximately 7 km or 4.37 miles.
- Three laps equals a half marathon; six laps equals a marathon; seven or more laps qualifies as an ultra; 50 km option available.
Turn points at about 3 km and 5 km are provided to help younger runners comply with UK Athletics distance rules. Minimum entry age is 12 years. Anyone wishing to run more than 45 km must be 20 years or older; 18 and 19 year olds may run up to 45 km. Maximum field size is 300 entrants and entries close 24 July 2026.
Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal. Distance pins are awarded for half-marathon, mega-half, marathon, 50 km and ultra achievements and one pin is attached to the medal ribbon. All finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan option. An aid table and drinks are available at the start/finish of each lap with savoury and sweet snacks and vegan choices.
Venue facilities include toilets, a cafe by race HQ and free parking. There are no separate changing facilities or showers. Number pickup is on the day at registration and final instructions are sent by email before the event. A bag drop is available but is not secure. Bone conducting headphones only are permitted. Runners are asked to be considerate of other path users. The event is organised by Saturn Too Limited, a franchise partner of Saturn Running. Transfers and deferrals are available for set fees.
