The Texas Sun Showdown Half Marathon, Relay & 5K takes place in June 2026 at McAllister Park - Pavilion #2, 13298 Buckhorn Rd, San Antonio, TX 78247. The event offers multiple race options including in-person and virtual formats. Participants receive a Texas finisher medal, a Texas-themed shirt, and post-race Texas barbecue food. Registration fees are listed per person. Published entry fees include $88 for the half marathon and virtual half, and $40 for the 5K, relays, and virtual 5K. Prices increase after May 10, 2026. The half marathon has a 4-hour time limit.
Relay registration is per person and each team member must register separately. Relay categories include Open, Masters (ages 40+), Super Masters (ages 50+), Mixed X (3 female, 1 male), Mixed Y (3 male, 1 female), and Military.
Packet pickup is offered Saturday, June 13 (11:00 AM–4:00 PM) at IRUN, with additional race-day packet pickup at McAllister Park Pavilion #2. Half marathoners complete two loops on the half marathon course; the 4-person relay and 5K use separate routes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
