Texas Sun Showdown Half Marathon, Relay & 5K
The event takes place on June 14, 2026 at McAllister Park Pavilion #2 in San Antonio, Texas. It offers in-person and virtual options with multiple formats on the same weekend. Registration opens in September 2025 and closes May 11, 2026. Entry fees vary by event.

Relay entries are charged per person and team members must register individually. The 2-person and 4-person relays together cover the half marathon distance; the half marathon course consists of two loops for in-person solo runners. Relay categories include Open, Masters (40+), Super Masters (50+), Mixed X (3 female, 1 male), Mixed Y (3 male, 1 female), and Military. The time limit for the half marathon is four hours.
Packet pickup is available before race day at IRUN Broadway on Friday June 12 and on race day at McAllister Park Pavilion #2. Awards are planned for the 5K, relay, and half marathon. Virtual participants may run from any location, submit results between June 15 and June 30, 2026, and can download a finisher certificate and race bib.
