Texas Sun Showdown Half Marathon, Relay and 5K
The Texas Sun Showdown takes place on June 13, 2027 at McAllister Park - Pavilion #2, 13298 Buckhorn Rd, San Antonio, TX 78247. The event program includes in-person and virtual race options and awards with a Texas theme.

- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- 4-Person Relay combined 13.1 miles
- 2-Person Relay combined 13.1 miles
- 5K 5 kilometers
- Virtual Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- Virtual 5K 5 kilometers
Relay registrations are per person; team members must register separately and will be prompted to form or join a team during registration. Relay categories include Open, Masters (40+), Super Masters (50+), Mixed X (3 female, 1 male), Mixed Y (3 male, 1 female) and Military. The Half Marathon and the 2-person relay use a course that involves two loops for half marathon distance; the 4-person relay follows a separate route.
The Half Marathon has a time limit of 4 hours. Registration fees listed for events include $88 for the Half Marathon and Virtual Half, and $40 for the 5K, relays and Virtual 5K as provided. Participants receive a Texas finisher medal, a Texas themed shirt and post-race Texas barbecue. Virtual races may be completed from any location with participant timing and result submission.
