About the race
The Saratoga Education Foundation 5K Fun Run and Walk takes place on November 1, 2026, at 13925 Fruitvale Ave, Saratoga, CA. This is the fifth annual community event organized by the Saratoga Education Foundation to raise funds for school enrichments.
The event includes a race through neighborhood streets and post-race activities such as food trucks, awards, raffles, and games. A special Kids Dash is offered for children age 5 and under.

- 0.25 miles - Kids Dash for children 5 and under.
- 3.1 miles - 5K Fun Run and Walk through neighborhood streets.
Registration fees are listed as $30.00 for the 5K and $15.00 for the Kids Dash.
The Saratoga Education Foundation collects family contributions to provide year‑round enrichments for all district students. For the 2025-2026 school year the foundation is collecting $552,000 to cover grade-level school field trips and transportation for three elementary schools and Redwood Middle School. Planned funding also supports Elementary Makerspace, Elementary Science Labs, seminars for Redwood Middle School students, and workshops targeted to parents and guardians of SUSD students.
