Saratoga Education Foundation 5K Fun Run
The Saratoga Education Foundation organizes its fifth annual 5K Fun Run and Walk in Saratoga, California on November 1, 2026. The event includes a 5K race and a Kids Dash for young children, and features post-race activities such as food trucks, awards, raffles, and games. The race start line is at Redwood Middle School and activities continue nearby.

Parking is available at West Valley College, Parking Lot 3, which is located across the street from Redwood Middle School; participants are asked to use crosswalks when crossing to the starting area. There will not be parking at Redwood Middle School due to the race route. Registration fees listed for the event are $30.00 for the 5K and $15.00 for the Kids Dash.
The event is a fundraiser for the Saratoga Education Foundation. For the 2026-2027 school year SEF is collecting $600,000 to cover grade-level field trips and transportation for three elementary schools and Redwood Middle School. SEF will also support the 5th Grade Science Camp for all three elementary schools, Elementary Makerspace, Elementary Science Labs, seminars for Redwood Middle School students, and workshops for parents and guardians.
