Mermaid Trail Run - 2026
Mermaid Trail Run takes place at Huddart Park, 1100 Kings Mountain Road, Woodside, California. The event offers a variety of trail distances and formats on forested trails among redwoods.
Distances and formats include:
- 3 Mile
- 6 Mile
- 9 Mile
- Half Marathon
- 6 Hour Challenge (Individual & 2 Person Relay)
- Kids 1.5 Mile Dash
- Virtual Run
- Mermaid Dash (1 mile, ages 6 to 12)
The Sirena 6 Hour Challenge runs on repeated 3 mile loops and accepts individual entrants and two person relay teams. Participants in the 6 hour event have access to a designated crew/drop bag area and a special 6 hour aid station with foods listed such as pancakes, quesadillas and melons.
Swag options are configurable during registration; participants can choose a long or short sleeve shirt and may opt out of items to reduce the entry fee. Opting out of swag can save up to $14; specific reductions listed include No Shirt ($8), No Medal ($3) and No Necklace ($3).
Packet pickup is offered prior to the event at Sports Basement Redwood City and on race day at Huddart Park; a photo ID is required for packet pickup. Parking at Huddart Park is limited, there is no parking on Kings Mountain Road or along the park entrance before the ranger's hut, and a $6 cash park fee is requested.
