Event overview
The Gardner Health Services 2025 Día de los Muertos Run-Walk is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2025, in San Jose, California. The event is the sixth annual fundraiser and health initiative organized to raise funds to help children and families who cannot afford medical insurance receive free care. The course runs along the Guadalupe River Trail and the event program includes music, entertainment, and a health resource fair. The event will also feature El Desfile de Catrinas, a Catrina procession and parade in which participants and their families may walk before the race.

Registration for each entry includes race entry, a bib and timing chip, a finisher's medal, and a Día de los Muertos tech shirt. Packet and bib pick-up is available at 1621 Gold Street, San Jose, CA on Friday, October 31, 2025, and on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Participants are encouraged to bring a photo or flowers for a community ofrenda; photos should be 5" x 7" or smaller, no glass or open flames are permitted, and items should be retrieved before leaving the venue.
