Gardner Health Services Día de los Muertos Run-Walk
The event is the 7th annual Gardner Health Services Día de los Muertos Run-Walk held on October 31, 2026, along the Guadalupe River Trail in San Jose, California. The in-person program uses a single, focused 5K route and includes separate registration categories that cover adult and children participants.
The event includes music, entertainment, and a health resource fair. The stated mission is to support children and families who need access to medical care; the event presents these activities with that mission in mind.
Registration for the timed 5K includes race entry, a bib with timing chip, a finisher's medal, and a Día de los Muertos tech shirt. Packet and bib pick-up are scheduled on Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31 at 1621 Gold Street, San Jose, CA 95002.
La Ofrenda will be on display. Participants are encouraged to bring a photo of a passed loved one, flowers, or similar items; photos should be 5" x 7" or smaller. No glass or open flames are allowed. All items should be placed on the ofrenda by 7:30am, and participants are asked to collect their photos and items before leaving the venue; items left at the end of the event will be discarded.
