Sanibel's only 10K/5K Race, JOG N JAM
FISH of SanCap presents the annual JOG N JAM community fundraising event. The JOG is a series of races held on Nov. 7, 2026, and the JAM concert is scheduled for Dec. 5, 2026. The in-person races begin and end at the Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, FL 33957. A kids fun run for children 10 years and under takes place at Sanibel Community Park.
Distances offered include:
- 10K in-person and virtual
- 5K in-person and virtual
- 0.25 Miles kids fun run
Registration opens April 1, 2026. In-person race registration closes August 31, 2026. Virtual race registration remains open through Nov. 7, 2026, and the kids run registration closes Nov. 6, 2026. Fees listed by the organizer are $45.00 for in-person 5K and 10K, $55.00 for virtual 5K and 10K, and no fee for the kids run.
Both the 5K and 10K courses have a 90 minute time limit. Participants who remain on the course after roads reopen will be directed onto the Shared Use Path to finish the race. Each in-person runner receives a finisher medallion and a T-shirt. Awards for top female and male overall, first place female and male, and age-group awards three deep are given to in-person participants only and cannot be shipped.
