Sanibel's only 10K/5K Race
FISH of SanCap organizes the annual JOG N JAM, a combined community race and music concert fundraising event. The JOG portion is scheduled for November 7, 2026, and the JAM concert is scheduled for December 5, 2026. The races use the Sanibel Community House at 2173 Periwinkle Way in Sanibel, Florida, for the race start and finish, and the kids fun run takes place at Sanibel Community Park after the awards.
Distances offered at the event include:
- 10 km in-person and virtual
- 5 km in-person and virtual
- 0.25 miles kids fun run for ages 10 and under
Registration opens April 1, 2026. In-person 5K and 10K registration closes August 31, 2026; virtual 5K and 10K registration closes November 7, 2026; the kids fun run registration closes November 6, 2026. Fees listed for the events are $45.00 for in-person 5K and 10K, $55.00 for virtual 5K and 10K, and no fee for the kids fun run. In-person participants receive a finishers medallion and a T-shirt. Awards for top female and male overall, first place female and male, and age group awards three deep are given to in-person participants only and cannot be shipped.
