Event Information
The Thanksgiving Day 5k is a running and walking event held on Thanksgiving morning at Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida. This will be the 12th annual event. Pre-race instructions and the national anthem start just before the 5k race begins.
Event Features
Entry includes a complimentary dry-fit tech shirt and a finisher medal. Alternatively, finishers can choose a finisher bag instead of the medal, depending on availability. The event is professionally chip-timed. After the race, there is a post-race area with music, drinks, and snacks. The event organizer provides a free live runner tracking app for spectators.
Packet Pickup
There is no regular race day packet pickup. Participants must pick up their race packets at one of the early pickup locations or have someone pick up for them. Early pickups are available in Fort Myers and Naples in the days before the event. A limited race day pickup is available for emergencies only, from 5:50 AM to 6:40 AM at Hertz Arena.

The event starts and ends at Hertz Arena, located at 11000 Everblades Parkway, Estero, FL 33928. Ample parking is available on-site.
