Fort Myers Turkey Trot 5K

The Fort Myers Track Club, in partnership with the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, presents the 47th annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K run and walk on November 26, 2026 in Fort Myers, Florida. The event uses a new 5K course that starts on McGregor Boulevard and finishes on the grounds of the Edison and Ford Winter Estates. The event has been held as a family tradition and attracted thousands of visitors, including participants from over 43 states in 2024.

The program includes two distances and organized entry with no race day registration. Registration fees are tiered by date and age group: Adult registration is $40, youth registration is $20 through September 30 then $25 October 1 through November 25, and the Tot Trot 100 yard dash for ages 6 and under is $10. The deadline to register online and be guaranteed a shirt size is November 1, 2026. Shirts are unisex, available for the first 4000 registered participants, and shirt sizes are final once selected.
