Fort Myers Turkey Trot 5K
The Fort Myers Track Club, in partnership with the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, hosts the 47th Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot on 11/26/2026 in Fort Myers, Florida. The event is billed as a 5K run/walk with additional family activities at the estates' location.
The NEW 5K course begins on McGregor Boulevard and finishes on the grounds of the Edison and Ford Winter Estates near 2350 McGregor Boulevard, Fort Myers FL 33901. The event setting uses estate grounds for the finish area.
Distances offered include:
- 5K
- 100 yards Tot Trot for ages 6 and under
Registration details are provided in advance and there is no race day registration. Published entry fees are: Adult $40, Youth $20 through September 30, 2026 then $25 from October 1 through November 25, 2026, and Tot Trot $10. Members of the Fort Myers Track Club receive a 20% discount on the entry fee. Shirt availability is limited: shirts are unisex, available for the first 4,000 registered participants, and a November 1, 2026 deadline is used to guarantee a chosen shirt size.
