Sacred Heart Wellness Walk and Fun Run
The Sacred Heart Hospital and Wellness Center hosts its 7th Annual Wellness Walk 5K and Fun Run in Lavonia, Georgia. This event serves as a fundraiser benefitting the Sacred Heart Wellness Center and Outpatient Rehab Services. The race takes place at the hospital's wellness center located at 367 Clear Creek Parkway.
The event offers two distinct distances for participants:
- Wellness Walk 5K
- Wellness Walk Fun Run
The 5K race includes a competitive element with awards presented to the overall top male and female finishers, as well as masters male and female winners. Recognition is also provided for the top three finishers in various age groups, ranging from 10 and under to 80 and over, in 10-year increments. For the Fun Run, awards are presented to the first boy and girl to cross the finish line.
Finish line management and timing for the event are provided by Classic Race Services. This race is a participating member of the Black Bag Race Series. Participants who register by the mid-March deadline are eligible to receive a commemorative t-shirt.
