Back the Blue 5K & 1 Mile
This event in downtown Westminster, SC features a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile fun run that start and finish on Main Street near the Depot parking lot. The Westminster Police Foundation supports the Westminster Police Department by funding technology, training, and equipment, and by strengthening community-police relationships through outreach and engagement.

The 5K route follows Main Street and continues along North Street, passing Park Place Ice Cream Shop and Anderson Park, then proceeds via Grey Street, Abbey Street past Westminster Presbyterian Church, North Isundega Street, Anderson, Hall Street, Gaston Circle, Jenkins toward Highway 183, and returns to Main Street. The 1-mile fun run runs up Main Street, through the underpass, then returns to the start line adjacent to the Depot parking lot.
Event logistics note parking on Windsor Street, the old Walgreens parking lot, and possibly Retreat Street. The event lists overall awards for top finishers and provides a free race t-shirt and medal for every registrant, with items not guaranteed for registrations after May 5th.
