Purpose, course and awards
The event benefits the Westminster Police Foundation. Funds support the Westminster Police Department by funding technology, training, and equipment, and by enhancing officer safety and wellness and community-police relationships through outreach and engagement. The course showcases downtown Westminster, including the city’s oldest church, historic neighborhoods, and Veteran’s Park, with a downtown finish and a post-race gathering. Awards are planned for overall top finishers. Every registrant receives a race t-shirt, and participants receive a swag bag with contributions from local businesses.
