Back the Blue 5K & 1 Mile
The event takes place on May 8, 2027 in downtown Westminster, South Carolina, with the start and finish on Main Street near 136 E Main St.

The 5K course starts and ends on Main Street and follows a loop through downtown streets. The route goes up Main Street, over to North Street, passes Park Place Ice Cream Shop and Anderson Park, turns left onto Grey Street, then left onto Abbey Street past Westminster Presbyterian Church, the oldest church in Westminster. Runners continue right onto North Isundega Street, then left on Anderson, right on Hall Street, left on Gaston Circle, left on Jenkins toward Highway 183, and return into town via North Street and the slight right back to Main Street.
The 1 mile fun run takes place on Main Street with start and finish adjacent to the end of the Depot parking lot. The course goes up Main Street, through the underpass, then returns down Main Street to the finish.
Packet pickup is offered the Friday before at the Westminster Police Department and on race morning at the police tent near the start line. Parking is planned on Windsor Street, the old Walgreens parking lot, and possibly Retreat Street. Registrants receive a race T-shirt and a medal; these items are not guaranteed for registrations after May 5. Overall awards are given to top finishers. Proceeds benefit the Westminster Police Foundation, which funds technology, training, equipment, officer safety and wellness, and community outreach.
