Clemson Triathlon : June 20, 2026
The Clemson Triathlon is held around the Clemson University campus at the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Center in Seneca, South Carolina. The event marks its 27th season in 2026 and serves as the USA Triathlon South Carolina State Championship. It is part of the South Carolina Triathlon Series.
Multiple race formats are offered, including individual triathlon, relay teams, aquabike, and aquathlon. There are special living donor categories sponsored by the South Carolina Transplant Foundation; one relay team member must be a living organ donor for the donor relay category.
Distances:
- Sprinternational Triathlon - 1000 m swim (lake); 21 mi bike; 6 km run
- Aquabike - 1000 m swim (lake); 21 mi bike
- Aquathlon - 1000 m swim (lake); 6 km run
The triathlon bike course consists of two loops, and the run follows the East Beach Dike, described as flat. Club competition is included for individual triathletes registered with a USA Triathlon club. Clubs score based on age-group placings; a minimum of three finishers is required for a club to be scored in 2026. Relay teams and athletes entered in aquabike or aquathlon do not count toward the club competition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
