D-Day 10K Run and Memorial Walk at Camp Toccoa at Currahee
This event takes place on June 6, 2026 at Camp Toccoa at Currahee in Toccoa, Georgia (2351 Ayersville Road, 30577). It includes a timed 10 kilometer run and an untimed memorial walk up Currahee Mountain.
The memorial walk is organized as a participation-only, untimed activity. Walkers may proceed any distance up the mountain, turn around, and return to the finish area. The 10K is presented as a 6.2 mile running distance.
Registrations open on December 31, 2025 and close on May 18, 2026. The listed registration fee is $35.00 for each event.
All proceeds will be used for the Camp Toccoa at Currahee Project to preserve the Legacy of Leadership associated with the men who trained there during World War II. The event acknowledges the soldiers who trained at Camp Toccoa and veterans who served and jumped into Normandy on June 6, 1944.
