Event details

Rye Summer 10k & 5k Series: Race Two takes place on 5 June 2026 at The Point, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, Rye, East Sussex. The event is organised by Nice Work as part of a five-race summer series with additional dates in May, July, August and September. The reserve contains shingle ridges, saltmarsh, intertidal grazing, reed-beds and saline lagoons. The course is described as tarmac and flat; windy conditions are possible and, when conditions are favourable, quick times may be likely.

  • 1k Junior run (not chip timed)

Age limits noted: the 5k is open to entrants aged 11 and over on the race date; the 10k is open to entrants aged 15 and over on the race date. Route maps and GPX files are available for download. Included for entrants are a bespoke medal, trophies and prizes for leading runners, and t-shirts for full-series entries only (not valid with individual entries). On-the-day entry fees (subject to availability) are listed as: 10k £25, 5k £20, Junior Run £7. Full-series bookings must be made before the May race takes place.
