Ashford Striders Charing 10k
The Ashford Striders Charing 10k is a Friday evening race held on 11 June 2027 at Charing Playing Fields, Charing, Ashford TN27 0JJ.
The event offers two distances:
- 10 km
- Junior Run (not chip timed)
The route uses tarmac, quiet country lanes and a short trail section. The course is undulating and explores the village of Charing, runs toward Eastwell and includes a stretch along the Pilgrims Way. Local marshals and community support are present along the course. There is no cut off time.
Included for participants are a bespoke medal and trophies and prizes for leading runners. On-the-day entry fees, subject to availability, are listed as 10k £30 and Junior Run £6. Detailed route maps, including GPX files, can be viewed and downloaded. Charing train station is about half a mile from the playing fields.
