Event
The Ashford Striders Charing 10k is an evening road and short-trail race held in Charing, Ashford, Kent. The route runs through tarmac and quiet country lanes, includes a short trail section and is generally undulating. The course passes towards Eastwell and includes a stretch along the Pilgrims Way. Local marshals and community support are present along the route. There is no cut off time for finishers.

Practical information
On-the-day entry fees are listed as £25 for the 10k and £6 for the Junior Run. All registered entrants will receive event information prior to race day. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and leading runners may receive trophies or prizes.
Parking is not available on Charing Playing Fields and parking on The Moat is not allowed. Parking is arranged in a field close to Race HQ; a small parking fee of £1 applies and participants are asked to follow signs and marshal instructions. Charing train station is about half a mile from the playing fields and local bus services also serve the area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
