Ashford Striders Charing 10k
The Ashford Striders Charing 10k is scheduled for 12 June 2026 at Charing Playing Fields, Charing, Ashford TN27 0JJ. The event is organised by Ashford Striders and runs as an evening race in early summer.

The route uses tarmac, quiet country lanes and a short trail section. The course is described as undulating with a significant climb and a downhill stretch that includes part of the Pilgrims Way and approaches towards Eastwell.
The race is presented as a community focused event with marshals and local support along the course. There is no cut off time for finishers. Route maps and downloadable GPX files are available for entrants.
Included items and awards: a bespoke medal for participants and trophies and prizes for leading runners. On-the-day entry fees are listed as subject to availability with 10k at £30 and the junior run at £6. Car parking is not available on the playing fields and not allowed on The Moat. Parking is arranged in a nearby field for a small charge; entrants are asked to follow signs and marshal instructions and to observe village parking restrictions.
