Event Overview
The Kingston Half Marathon is a road and towpath running event held in the London and Surrey area. The course takes participants through the streets of Kingston and along the scenic river towpath of the Thames. The route is characterized as being flat and relatively quick, consisting of two laps that incorporate both quiet roads and natural paths.

Location and Access
The event starts and finishes at the Kingston Hawker Centre on Lower Ham Road. The venue is accessible by public transport; it is a 20-minute walk from Kingston station, or a short trip via the 65 bus towards Ealing. While there is no parking available directly at the Hawker Centre, free parking is available in nearby residential areas such as Dukes Avenue and Riverside Drive.
Participant Services
The event utilizes chip timing technology to provide accurate results immediately after the finish. Participants have access to a cordoned-off baggage drop area, although it is not recommended for valuables. Toilets are provided at the start and finish area, and a medical team is stationed on-site. Professional race photographers are positioned along the course to capture runners during the event.
Additional Information
A group warm-up is conducted approximately 10 minutes before the start to assist runners. In accordance with UKA rules, only bone-conducting headphones are permitted; other types of headphones are not allowed. After the race, all finishers receive a medal and a selection of refreshments, including water, juices, fruit, and chocolate.
