The City v Wharf Run Challenge
The City v Wharf Run Challenge is a corporate running event held in Victoria Park, Bow, London. The course uses hard park paths and is flat. Each lap measures 2.5 km, the 5k is two laps and the 10k is four laps. The route is suitable for wheelchair users and will be marshalled; placings are based on chip timing.
Entry options and items provided are set by the organiser. Entry fees are £25 per person for individual 5k or 10k entries, and £20 per person for the two-person 10k relay (each participant runs 5k). Every entrant receives chip timing, a medal, a headband, and light refreshments; bottled water is available at the start and finish and there are sweets at the finish.
Distances:
- 5k two laps of 2.5 km each
- 10k four laps of 2.5 km each
- 10k team relay teams of two, each running 5k
Company results require a minimum of four runners from the same company; company placings use the fastest four finishers from each company. Awards include fastest individuals (male and female), fastest relay team, fastest company teams by category, and trophies for largest company entries. Race packs can be posted before the event or collected at the event hub near the Crown Gate East entrance. Bag storage and toilets are available near registration.
