Midweek Chasing Numbers Sept 2026

The Midweek Chasing Numbers event is a flexible time challenge held at the Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club in Egham. Participants have a seven-hour window to complete their chosen distance along a scenic route by the River Thames. The course is fully signed and consists of approximately 60% tarmac or well-made paths, with the remaining 40% composed of grass and light trail sections.

Runners and walkers can complete various distances by performing multiple laps of the course. A full lap is approximately 7 km (4.37 miles), though there are designated turn points for shorter distances. Available distances include:

  • 3 km
  • 5 km
  • 10 km
  • Half Marathon (3 laps)
  • Marathon (6 laps)
  • 50 km
  • Ultra Marathon (7 or more laps)

An aid table located at the start and finish of each lap provides a selection of sweet and savoury snacks, fruit, and vegan options. All finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal, and those reaching half marathon distance or further receive additional distance-specific pins. The event site includes a race headquarters with a cafe, toilets, and changing facilities. Parking is available at the nearby Runnymede Pleasure Grounds.
