Runtastic NEBO
Runtastic NEBO is scheduled for August 28, 2027, at Memorial Park, 300 S Main St, Payson, Utah. The event uses the Mt. Nebo Loop through Payson Canyon and finishes at Memorial Park.
The event offers these distances:
- Marathon : downhill course with a 4,561-foot net elevation drop
- Half Marathon : point-to-point down Payson Canyon
- 10K : out-and-down segment on the canyon route
- 5K : loop starting and finishing at Memorial Park
All courses run down Payson Canyon with pine-lined roads and panoramic views of Mount Nebo, Utah Valley, and Utah Lake. The marathon has a course time limit of 5 hours 30 minutes and runners must be out of the canyon by 10:30 AM. Bus transportation is required to reach the start areas; there are designated bus loading locations and windows, and missing the bus can forfeit a runner’s ability to start. There is no self-transportation to the start.
Aid stations are positioned along the courses offering Re-Lyte, water, porta-potties, and first aid; select stations provide GU fuel. Bag drop is available at Marathon, Half, and 10K start lines with pickup at the finish. Laurel Timing provides chip timing on bibs and free race photos are available after the event. Pacer groups are offered for the marathon and half to support target finishing times.
Overall top three male and female finishers receive medals and a free entry for the same distance the following year, plus a $100 bonus for breaking a course record. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
