Runtastic NEBO : Payson, Utah
Runtastic NEBO takes place on August 29, 2026 at Memorial Park in Payson, Utah. The event includes four distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
All courses run along the Mt. Nebo Loop down Payson Canyon. The route passes through pine-lined roads and sweeping curves with views of Mount Nebo, Utah Valley, and Utah Lake. The Marathon features a large net elevation loss of 4,561 feet. The event is listed as a qualifying opportunity for the 2027 Boston Marathon.
Packet pick up and the race expo occur at Memorial Park the day before the race. For the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K there is mandatory bus transportation to the start; self-transportation to those starts is not permitted. A bag drop is provided at the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K start lines, with pickup at the finish. Unclaimed drop bags will be taken to the organizer office for retrieval the week after the race.
Aid stations on the courses provide electrolytes, water, porta-potties, and first aid; GU Energy Gels are supplied at selected stations. The Marathon has a course time limit of 5 hours and 30 minutes; runners behind the sweepers will be transported to the finish and recorded as a DNF. Races are chip timed; age group awards use chip time while overall awards use gun time. Finisher medals, race shirts, award medals, and other swag are planned with details announced closer to the event. Free professional race photos are provided for participants.
