Hobble Before You Gobble Turkey Trot - Springville
The event is the 5th annual Hobble Before You Gobble Turkey Trot in Springville, held at Ray Arthur Wing Park (950 W 125 N, Springville, UT 84663) on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026. The event includes timed road races and a separate untimed fun run. Each participant receives a race beanie and a participant medal. All profits will go to Utah Valley Refugees.
The course starts and finishes at Ray Arthur Wing Park and follows local streets through nearby farmland. The 5K returns to the park at the finish. The 10K consists of two laps of the same 5K course. The course description notes turns at 900 N, 1050 W, 300 N, Center Street, and a final return to 950 W. Volunteers will hand out water on the route.

After October 31 the fees increase to 10K $20, 5K $20, Fun Run $15. Early packet pick up is scheduled for November 25 at Hobble Creek Dental Care (143 E 200 S, Springville, UT). General packet pick up will be available at the event. The event will run in most weather; if the city deems conditions unsafe participants may pick up their beanie and swag bag but refunds will not be issued for weather cancellations.
A raffle requires registration by November 24 to be entered. Race awards include first, second and third place medals by age division for timed races; fun run awards go to the first three finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
