14th Annual Running for the Bulls
The event takes place on October 4, 2026 at Rio Vista Community Park in Peoria, Arizona, and benefits AZK9 Rescue. It is a dog-friendly running event held on the New River Trail System; the course uses paved and concrete open-use trails and both the start and finish are at Rio Vista Park. The open-use trail remains open to the public during the event.

- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Virtual Run (US addresses only)
All participants receive a custom event medal and a custom event tech shirt, with an option to decline the shirt for a reduced fee. Virtual participants receive the same swag mailed after the event and receive instructions by email before the event. Chip timing is used with real-time results and event photos available online or via the event app. Male and female age-group awards are given to the top three in each age group for the 10K and 5K (race day participants only).
Event services include pre-event packet pickup the day before at a to-be-determined location and packet pickup at Rio Vista Park on race day. The event is rain or shine with no weather refunds. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are permitted when started from the back of the field. Bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on the course.
