14th Annual Running for the Bulls
This community running event takes place on October 4, 2026 at Rio Vista Community Park in Peoria, Arizona. Proceeds benefit AZK9 Rescue. The course uses the New River Trail System and is on paved surfaces including asphalt and concrete, with the start and finish at Rio Vista Park.

The event is dog friendly; leashed pets are permitted and doggy pools are provided at each aid station. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome when started from the back of the pack. Bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on the run or walk courses.
All participants receive a custom event medal and a custom tech shirt with an option to decline the shirt for a reduced fee. The in-person awards include male and female age group awards for the top three finishers in the 10K and 5K for race day participants. Chip timing is provided with real time results and event photos available through the race app and results service.
The event is managed by StartLine Racing. The race proceeds rain or shine and there are no refunds due to weather. Mail-in registrations are accepted through September 28, 2026; virtual participants will receive mailed shirts and medals after the event.
