Fall Frenzy 4 Mile and 8 Mile
Fall Frenzy offers two road-race distance choices in Papago Park, staged from Ramadas 9 and 10 at 625 N Galvin Parkway. The event takes place on a desert-area course that uses primarily paved multi-use paths and roads, with some limited packed-dirt canal stretches.
The 8-mile route is described as scenic and more challenging. The 4-mile route follows canal stretches and weaves around a couple of urban lakes, with enough inclines to provide an uninterrupted workout. Both courses have mapped routes on the organizer's course pages.
Registration is managed through RunSignUp, and day-of registration is available via that platform. Runners may pick up race number bibs on race day; pickup opens in the early morning and closes before the races start. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female finishers in each race, and for sex-specific age groups across a wide range of ages for both distances.
This is a road race rather than a trail race, emphasizing paved surfaces with short sections of canal and desert terrain.
