2026 Run with the Badges - 5K Glow Run
The Run with the Badges is a 5K glow run held in Downtown Dallas, GA and hosted by the City of Dallas in partnership with Paulding Public Safety Appreciation, Inc. The event raises funds and awareness for local public safety families and other support activities run by the nonprofit.
Paulding Public Safety Appreciation is a 501c3 organization that provides financial and community support for public safety personnel and families. In 2025 the organization reported providing more than $75,000 in assistance, sponsoring seven families for Christmas and hosting multiple fundraisers for families facing hardship. At the time of listing the event fundraising page showed $568.43 raised, representing 92% of its listed goal.
Registered runners receive a custom Run with the Badges race t-shirt, a vendor swag bag, and a custom glow-in-the-dark finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in standard age categories, with a custom award for the overall male and female winners. Age categories include male and female groups from 10 and under through 70 and over.
The event features vendor displays, music, and community activities. T-shirt purchases are available through the organizer for those who prefer to participate without running.
