Bartow County Lions Club "Roar Run 5K"
The Bartow County Lions Club "Roar Run 5K" is the fourth annual 5K event held at Dellinger Park in Cartersville, Georgia on June 6, 2026. The course uses paths within Dellinger Park and nearby surface streets, with the finish line located on the Freedom Braille Trail. Proceeds support the creation, expansion, maintenance, and financial support of the Dellinger Park Freedom Braille Trail.
Both start and finish areas are on the east side of Dellinger Park adjacent to the lake. Parking for race day is available on the west side of the park near the football and softball fields; east side parking will be closed for the event. Registration is offered at a reduced pre-race fee of $30 through May 31, which guarantees a T-shirt size; a higher registration rate applies on race day. A "GHOST RUNNER" option is available for participants who wish to support the cause and receive a T-shirt without attending on race day.
Pre-race packet pick-up for pre-registered participants is scheduled at Big Peach Running Co., Cartersville. Awards are planned for top finishers overall (top three male and female), top masters male and female, and the top three male and female finishers across age categories from 10 and under up to 80 and over.
