Alex Guercia Memorial 5K Mustang Run
The Alex Guercia Memorial 5K Mustang Run is a community road race taking place at Kennesaw Mountain High School in Kennesaw, Georgia on June 20, 2026. The event is organized as a memorial and a fundraiser; all proceeds support a scholarship that awards two KMHS students each year.
The event commemorates a recent graduate who participated in local swim teams and high school cross country. The scholarship continues that person’s focus on education and community service.

Awards are given to top runners in standard age groups and top overall male and female finishers receive custom medals plus two Braves tickets. Packet pick-up is scheduled at Big Peach Running Company in Kennesaw and on the event day at Kennesaw Mountain High School.
Registration is listed with a fee of $40 plus taxes and processing charges. The registration policy states there are no refunds unless participants enrolled in the Refund Protection Program, and that race management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions.
