Hud's Heart 5K & Fun Run : Rockmart, GA
Hud’s Heart 5K & Fun Run is a community event on June 6, 2026 at 180 W Elm St, Rockmart, GA. The event is organized to raise awareness for Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) and to honor the life and legacy of Hud. It includes in-person and virtual options and a free registration category for families affected by congenital heart conditions.

Registration opens February 23, 2026 and closes June 5, 2026. The listed fees are $35 for the timed 5K, $25 for the Fun Run, $35 for the virtual option, and no fee for the Heart Warrior registration. The Heart Warrior option is intended for children and families who are walking or have walked the congenital heart journey and is offered without a financial barrier.
The timed 5K is a scored event with awards for the top overall male and female finishers and for age-group placements. Age is determined on race day. Age groups include 10 & Under; 11–14; 15–19; 20–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60–69; and 70 & Over.
