Summer Sun Run 5K : Kennesaw Grand Prix Race Series
The Summer Sun Run 5K is part of the Kennesaw Grand Prix Race Series and is scheduled for June 6, 2026 at Kennesaw First Baptist Church, 2958 North Main Street, Kennesaw, GA 30144. The event program includes a 5K, a 1 Mile Fun Run, and a Tot Trot.
The 5K uses a USATF-certified, flat paved route through Swift-Cantrell Park that continues into historic downtown Kennesaw. Packet pick-up is available the morning of the event and on Thursday, June 4 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Big Peach Running Co. Kennesaw, 1625 Ridenour Blvd, Kennesaw, GA 30152.
Free public parking is available at Adams Park, 2600 Park Drive. Limited parking is available at Kennesaw First Baptist Church in the rear lots only, with entry via Moon Station Road. Additional parking options include along Lewis Street between North Main Street and Dallas Street, surface parking behind Revival on Main, and the first floor of the Revival on Main parking deck.
Registration fees for the 5K range from $25 for early bird pricing up to $45 for race day, plus processing fees. To be guaranteed a race t-shirt, registration must be completed by Sunday, May 31; registrations continue through race morning but shirts are not guaranteed after the deadline.
