Run Wild 5K - Palos Heights

The Run Wild 5K is a run/walk event at the Lake Katherine Nature Center in Palos Heights, Illinois. It takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The course goes through scenic trails offering lakeside views and opportunities to spot local wildlife.

Proceeds from the event support the Lake Katherine Nature Center's conservation efforts, environmental education programs, and habitat restoration projects.

The event includes age group awards for the top three males and females overall, as well as three deep in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over.

Packet pickup is available on Friday, April 10th, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the nature center, and on race morning from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM. The 5K run/walk starts at 8:00 AM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
