Run, Walk & Roll to Independence is a community road event on October 3, 2026 in Greenville, North Carolina, at 2205 West 5th Street. The event promotes outdoor recreation for people of varying physical abilities and welcomes wheelchair and hand crank bike racers. Net proceeds benefit ECU Health Rehabilitation Services.

The event features chip timing, finish line music, and refreshments. All registrants will receive a T-shirt. Registration is available online and in person on race morning.
Entry fee details are provided for participants: the 5K has an early bird fee of $25 by September 18 with higher fees after that date, the 1 mile fee is $10, and the 100 yard kids dash is free for youth 10 years old and younger. Entry fees are waived for participants using wheelchairs, hand crank bikes, mobility assistive devices, and for Ainsley’s Angels team members. A charitable contribution allowance is noted for registrations: $13 for 5K entries and $10 for 1 mile entries.
All finishers receive their time and placing. Awards include top overall finishers, age group places for the 5K, top finishers in wheelchair and hand crank categories, individual 1 mile winners by category, and team awards including Most Team Spirit.
