Race details and logistics

The 50 km course crosses multiple terrains, including trails, rolling downs and the coastal promenade, and finishes on Hove Lawns. The race is fully signed and a GPS route file is provided in advance. There are four feed stations at roughly 10 km intervals and an option to have personal food delivered to later feed stations. The relay divides the course at a checkpoint in Upper Beeding (23.3 km): runner 1 covers the first, flatter section to that checkpoint; runner 2 covers the remaining undulating South Downs to the finish.

The event is licensed by the TRA and run under UK Athletics rules; it is also registered with ARC and ITRA. Medical support is provided on the route. Additional services mentioned include event tracking, downloadable photos, a finisher memento, and bus transport from the finish to the start available for a fee. Standard entry prices listed are £73 for the individual 50k and £90 for the 2-runner relay, plus service fees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
