Run to the Sea Brighton : 50 km point-to-point ultramarathon
Run to the Sea Brighton is a 50 km point-to-point ultramarathon from Horsham to the Brighton seafront. The route passes through mixed terrain, including trails and rolling downs, and finishes on the seafront promenade. The course is fully signed and a GPS route file is provided before race day.
Four feed stations are placed at approximately 10 km intervals. Competitors can arrange to have their own food delivered to feed stations three and four. Professional medical support is provided throughout the event. The race uses a 9.5 hour cut-off time measured from the race start.
Entry options include an individual 50 km event and a 50 km relay for pairs. Individual and relay entries have early bird and standard pricing brackets. Team entries are recorded by individual registration with a team or club name; a prize is awarded to the first team or club with five finishers.
Additional event features listed by the organiser include a free 17-week training plan, a bespoke medal and memento, downloadable race photos, UTMB index status, and registration with ARC and TRA. Bus transport from the finish to the start is available for a fee. A provisional GPS route map and a race information guide are provided before the event.
