Run to the Sea Brighton 2026

The event takes place on Saturday, 9 May 2026. Registration closes on 25 April 2026.

This is a point-to-point ultramarathon from Christ's Hospital School in Horsham to Hove Lawns on the Brighton seafront. The total distance is 50 km.

There are two participation options:

  • A 50k Standard Entry for individual runners.
  • A RTTS Brighton 50k Relay for teams of two runners. The relay splits the course into two distinct halves, with the first runner covering a flat section and the second runner tackling a hilly section.

The course is multi-terrain, featuring trails, rolling downs, and a coastal promenade. The race is licensed by the TRA and run under UK Athletics rules. Participants must be 20 years or older on race day.

The event organization provides a signed course, a GPS route file, predictive tracking, a medal, four feed stations, medical support, and downloadable photos. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
