Event overview
The Mince Pi Run is scheduled for 14 December 2025 at Shalford Park, Guildford, GU4 8AA. The event offers several distance options:
- 3.14 miles (1 lap)
- 6.28, 9.42, ... up to 31.4 miles (1 to 10 laps)
- Pi marathon option
- 1 mile fun run for younger children in the shape of the Pi symbol
Total places are limited to 200 and the event status is listed as open. Organiser: Wacky Events.
Course, participation and facilities
The course is mostly flat and off road, running largely along the water’s edge with one or two hills. Some parts of the path are eroded and extra care is advised. Alternative courses may be used if conditions dictate. Bespoke Pi Pie medals are provided for all competitors. Results will be published online as soon as possible after the event, with an aim to have them available within 24 hours.
Junior participation on the 3.14 mile loop: ages 8-11 may run 1 lap, ages 12-14 may run 2 laps, age 15 may run 4 laps. Under-12s must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 12- to 15-year-olds must have an adult at the start and finish or may be accompanied.
Various car parks are within walking distance. The Shalford Park car park is reserved for football teams with block bookings; Millbrook car park (GU1 3XL) is about half a mile from race headquarters.
Entry and fees
Early price until 31 Mar 2025: £20.36. Price until 12 Dec 2025: £23.50. The organiser pays the service fee for each sign-up. Registration details and final race arrangements will be confirmed before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
