YMCA Santa Run : Reigate
Santas of all ages and abilities are invited to run or walk in Priory Park, Reigate to raise money for YMCA East Surrey. The event takes place on 13 December 2026 and offers two distances.
- 1 mile - Family 1 mile for children (4+) and adults.
- 3 miles - Adult 3 mile for participants aged 16 and over.
Entry costs £12.50 and includes a Santa suit and a medal; entrants can choose not to receive a suit when booking and are asked to wear Christmas fancy dress for the themed run. Santa suits can be collected from the YMCA Sports & Community Centre in Redhill from Monday 24 November or at Priory Park on the day; the last collection at the YMCA is 12 noon on Saturday 13 December.
The 1 mile route follows paths inside the park and the 3 mile route uses some quiet roads nearby. All races are marshalled. Prizes are awarded to the first, second and third male and female in the Adult 3 mile, and to the first, second and third girl and boy in the Family 1 mile. There is no official event timing; participants may use their own fitness tracker or phone app to record times.
The entry fee covers event costs; there is no minimum fundraising target, but an optional donation is available. The event supports YMCA East Surrey’s charitable work, including the Life Change Fund for supported housing for young people. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
