About the race
The YMCA Santa Run takes place in Priory Park, Reigate on 13 December 2026. The event offers festive running and walking options over measured short distances to raise funds for YMCA East Surrey.

Entry is £13.50 and includes a free Santa suit and a medal; participants can decline the suit when registering and are asked to wear Christmas fancy dress for the themed run. Santa suits can be collected from the YMCA Sports & Community Centre in Redhill from Monday 30 November, or at Priory Park on the day. The last collection at the YMCA is at 12 noon on Saturday 12 December.
The Family 1 mile is for children aged 4 and above running with adults; running buggies are permitted for children from 9 months up to 4 years, and babies in slings are not allowed on the course. All dogs must be kept on handheld leads even when spectating.
Prizes are awarded to the first, second and third male and female in the Adult 3 mile, and to the first, second and third girl and boy in the Family 1 mile. The 1 mile route stays on park paths; the 3 mile route also follows some quiet nearby roads which are not closed for the event. All races are marshalled and there is no official event timing, so participants may use their own fitness trackers.
