Memorial Day Charity Run in Virginia Beach
Run to Remember VB is a charitable racing event held annually on Memorial Day at the Military Aviation Museum in Pungo, Virginia. Created by the families of fallen service members, the event serves to bring the community together to honor the meaning of the holiday while raising funds for organizations that support families of the fallen. Since its start, the race has donated over $320,000 to various philanthropic foundations.
The event features several participation options:

- Kid's 1 Mile Fun Run (open to ages 12 and under)
- Virtual 5K
The morning activities include the National Anthem and the presentation of colors. The 5K begins at a time specifically chosen to honor service members lost on August 6, 2011. After the completion of the races, the event continues with music, local food, and beverages. All proceeds go toward supporting a wide range of veteran and family-focused organizations, including the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, the Navy SEAL Foundation, and Tunnel To Towers.
