Dolphin Dash 5K (2026)
The Dolphin Dash is a community road race and fund-raising event held in Virginia Beach on May 16, 2026. Proceeds from the event and related activities support Abby's Legacy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that aids childhood cancer patients through research, care, and support.
Race registrations include a T-shirt designed by an Ocean Lakes student and a race bag. Standard registration is listed at $35 and increases to $40 for race day paper registration. A special registration page and reduced fee of $25 are available specifically for Ocean Lakes High School students and staff. A separate youth Mini Dash is offered with a lower registration fee of $15.
If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather it will not be rescheduled and no refunds will be issued. If the event is rescheduled for other reasons, door prizes will be distributed by drawing. Door prizes, coupons, and food and drinks are available to participants. Participants receive a door prize ticket as they finish; additional door prize tickets can be purchased for $1 each and proceeds support the same charity.
