Event Details
The Bubble Run takes place at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. It is scheduled for May 16, 2026. On-site packet pickup is available the day before the event, May 15th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the venue address: 2044 Landstown Centre Way, Virginia Beach, VA.
The Course
The event features a 5 km course. Along the route are foam stations, described as "full of BUBBLES." On race day, registration opens at 7:00 AM, and participants are assigned to heats. After a heat starts, small groups are released every 60-90 seconds. The actual start time for an individual is on a first-come, first-served basis within their assigned hour-long heat window.
Registration Options
There are two main registration types:
- Value Registration: Includes a race bib, a limited edition 2026 finisher medal, access to a post-race dance party, and entry to the foam stations.
- VIP Registration: Includes all Value benefits plus an event t-shirt, sunglasses, a bubble wand, a headband, a drawstring bag, and a silicone wristband. This option is noted as "Limited."
Additional Information
Participants are asked to check in 45 minutes before their scheduled wave time. On race day, there is a $5.00 fee per packet for pickup, payable in cash only. Parking at the venue may incur a charge of up to $20, which could be cash-only or card-only; specific updates will be communicated via email closer to the event.
