Bubble Run Virginia Beach 2027
The Bubble Run is a non-competitive 5 km event held at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. This family-friendly gathering is open to participants of all ages, with registration being free for children aged 4 and under. The event focuses on entertainment rather than competition, making it accessible to first-time runners and seasoned participants alike.
The course features several foam stations where participants pass through large volumes of colorful bubbles. Before the run begins, a pre-party is held at the venue featuring a DJ and music. Once participants cross the finish line, they enter an after-party area that includes more foam, music, and dancing.
Participants can choose between different registration tiers. The standard package includes a race bib and a limited edition finisher medal. A VIP option is also available, which provides additional items such as a tour t-shirt, sunglasses, a bubble wand, a headband, and a drawstring bag.
The event operates a "Buy One - Give One" program. For every registration purchased, the organizers donate a registration to local community members through various charitable organizations. Packet pick-up is available the day before the event at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex, or on the morning of the run for a small additional fee.
