Bubble Run Virginia Beach 2026
The Bubble Run is a community event held at the Virginia Beach Sports Complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This activity is designed for participants of various ages and abilities, including those with strollers. Participants are encouraged to wear white t-shirts as they move through a course that features several stations known as Foam Bogs.
The course covers a distance of up to 3 miles (approximately 5 km). Along the route, participants pass through colored foam that is designed to be 100% safe. Each Foam Bog features a different color of foam, providing a diverse visual experience throughout the race. Staff members, referred to as Bubble-teers, are positioned at these stations to ensure foam coverage for all participants.
The event utilizes a wave start system to manage the flow of the crowd. While participants register for a specific heat, small waves of runners are released every 60 to 90 seconds within that window. The physical start time for individuals within their designated heat operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
The venue is located at 2044 Landstown Centre Way. On-site facilities include a store featuring themed merchandise such as t-shirts and tutus.
