Run the Vineyards "The 5K Waltz" : Manheim, PA
Run the Vineyards presents its 5th annual 5K at Waltz Vineyards Estate Winery in Manheim, Pennsylvania. The event follows a scenic course through the vineyard with mountain and valley views. The race is chip timed with instant results and includes awards for the top three overall finishers and age group awards for male and female runners in 14 and under, 15–19, 20–29, and every ten years thereafter.
An after party takes place on the winery grounds with live music, a food truck, and a complimentary glass of wine for participants aged 21 and over. Participants receive event swag including a custom race shirt available in women’s, men’s/unisex, and youth sizes; a women’s racerback tank is available as an upgrade. Additional items include a Run the Vineyards stemless wine glass and optional souvenir finisher medals available for an extra fee during registration or on race day while supplies last.
Walkers and all ages are welcome; registration is required. Packet pick-up occurs on race day at the Good Day for a Run tent at the winery. The event partners with the HEADstrong Foundation.
