Run the Vineyards - "The 5K Waltz"
Run the Vineyards - "The 5K Waltz" is a single-day 5K running event held on May 9, 2026 at Waltz Vineyards Estate Winery in Manheim, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The course runs through the vineyard and offers mountain and valley views. The event uses chip timing with instant results.
Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and to male and female age group winners in the following ranges: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 years thereafter. A complimentary glass of wine is provided to participants age 21 and over. Live music takes place after the race and a food truck is on site.
Event merchandise includes a custom race shirt in women’s, men’s/unisex, and youth sizes, with an option to upgrade to a women’s racerback tank for an extra fee. Souvenir finisher medals are optional for a fee during registration or at the event while supplies last. Free downloadable race and after-party photos are available and a professional photographer is on staff.
Walkers and children are welcome. Walkers must be registered and start behind runners for safety, and a one hour time limit is requested. The event supports the HEADstrong Foundation.
