Run the Vineyards - Running Hare Fall 5K
The Run the Vineyards - Running Hare Fall 5K takes place October 11, 2026 at Running Hare Vineyard in Prince Frederick, Maryland. The event is a 5K race held on the vineyard property and is open to runners, walkers, children, and spectators. Registration is required to participate.
The course runs through the vineyard and the race is chip timed with instant results. Walkers are welcome but must start behind the runners. Participants have a one hour time limit to complete the course. Packet pick-up occurs on race day at the Good Day for a Run tent; arriving before the start allows participants to receive their race number, shirt, and hear announcements. Late arrivals may pick up swag but may not start on course after the race start for safety reasons.
Registration includes a custom tech tee, with an option to upgrade to a long sleeve tech tee for an additional $6; registering by September 27 is recommended to guarantee first choices. The registration fee listed is $42. Children receive discounted pricing during registration and minors do not receive the alcohol ticket. A complimentary glass of wine or beer is provided for participants age 21 and over. Other amenities include a souvenir stemless wine glass, purchasable finisher medals, on-site food vendor Heidi's Eats, a live musician performing after the race, professional photos available for download within 24 to 48 hours, and awards for top finishers and age group winners.
