Run the Vineyards - Running Hare Fall 5K
The Run the Vineyards - Running Hare Fall 5K is scheduled for October 11, 2026 at Running Hare Vineyard, 150 Adelina Road, Prince Frederick, MD 20678. The venue is a 300+ acre vineyard property and the event uses a scenic 5K course through the grounds.
The 5K is chip timed with instant results. Registration is required to participate and walkers and children are welcome; walkers must start behind the runners. Participants have a one hour time limit to complete the course. The listed registration fee is $42.00.
Event amenities include a complimentary glass of wine or beer for participants age 21 and over, a souvenir stemless wine glass, and a custom tech tee included with the entry or an upgrade to a long sleeve tech tee for an additional $6. Souvenir finisher medals are available for purchase during registration for $8 or on race day for $10 while supplies last. A professional photographer will provide free downloadable race and after-party photos within 24 to 48 hours after the event.
Food will be available from an on-site vendor and a live musician will perform following the run. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to age group winners in ranges including 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, and then every ten years. Packet pick-up occurs on race day at the Good Day for a Run tent; late arrivals may receive swag but may not be allowed to start for safety.
