Run the Vineyards - Running Hare Fall 5K

The Run the Vineyards - Running Hare Fall 5K is an annual event held at the Running Hare Vineyard in Prince Frederick, Maryland. This 9th annual edition takes place on a property spanning over 300 acres, offering a scenic course through the vineyard grounds. The event is open to both runners and walkers, with a one hour time limit to complete the course.

Participants in the 5K receive chip timing with instant results. Registered participants receive a custom technical shirt, with options for women's, men's/unisex, and youth sizes. Each finisher also receives a souvenir stemless wine glass. Finisher medals are available for an additional fee during registration or on the day of the event.

The event features several post-race amenities. Participants aged 21 and over receive a complimentary glass of wine or beer. The celebration includes live music and on-site food vendors. Professional photography is provided, with free digital downloads available shortly after the race. Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers, as well as winners in specific age groups ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over.
