Friends of the Poor 5K Walk/Run & Kiddy-K
Friends of the Poor 5K Walk/Run & Kiddy-K is a community running event held at Kings Landing Park in Huntingtown, Maryland. The event takes place at 3255 Kings Landing Road and marks the 11th year of the event.
The main event is a 5K timed run on a course that is described as fast and mostly flat with some wooded trail sections. A separate kids fun run is offered for children 10 and under.

Awards are presented to the overall top male and female finishers and to the top male and female runners in each age bracket. Additional activities and features at the event include games, a visit from the fire department, door prizes, raffle items, and a 50/50 raffle.
