Friends of the Poor 5K Walk/Run & Kiddy-K

The Friends of the Poor 5K Walk/Run & Kiddy-K is a timed running event held at Kings Landing Park, 3255 Kings Landing Road, Huntingtown, Maryland 20639. The course is described as fast and mostly flat with some wooded trail sections.

The program includes a childrens fun run called the Kiddy-K for children 10 and under. Awards are presented to the overall top male and female finishers and to the top male and female in each age bracket.

Additional on-site activities include games, a visit from the fire department, door prizes, raffle items and a 50/50 raffle. The event marks its eleventh year.

Registration opens June 15, 2026 and closes September 24, 2026. The registration fee is $30.00.
