About the race
Run Santa Run is a holiday-themed running event held on a course decorated with lights, inflatables, and music. The 5K uses two laps of a 1.5 mile loop; the one-mile follows a partial loop of the same course. The course passes named themed sections such as Santa’s Launch Pad, Hershey Kiss Kingdom, Rudolph’s Rainbow Alley, the North Pole, Snowman’s Paradise, Candy Cane Lane, and Winter Wonderland, and finishes under a large Santa figure in a simulated snow blizzard.
Participants receive a Santa suit to wear and a Santa Sack race packet. All finishers in both distances receive custom designed finisher medals. The event offers overall and age-group awards across multiple age categories, and post-race refreshments include hot chocolate and Christmas cookies. LED light necklaces and lighted reindeer antlers are available for purchase during registration.
Packet pickup is available at several 1st Place Sports locations on specified dates before the event, with unclaimed packets moved to the race site for race day pickup. Entry fees vary by date and by distance, and the event policy states there are no refunds, deferrals, or transfers.
