Run Sage Creek 2026
Run Sage Creek takes place on September 12, 2026 at Ron Duhamel Park and near École Sage Creek in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The event is an initiative of the Sage Creek Residents’ Association and local community members. It is presented in a family-friendly setting and all participants receive a finisher medal.
Courses use a mix of road, sidewalk, and trails. The event offers multiple distances with differing timing and certification details.
- 1K - not chip timed; mixture of sidewalk and trail; starts and finishes at the school.
- 3K - chip timed; not exactly 3K; starts at the school, finishes on the path.
- 5K - chip timed; certified exactly 5K by Athletics Canada; loop course starts at the school.
- 10K - chip timed; two loops of the 5K; not a certified course.
The 5K is part of the Manitoba Runners' Association Classic Series. The event is also included in MRA Youth Series and Celebration Series categories. Food and vendors are present on race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
