Stony Mountain Run 2026
The 2026 Abas Auto Stony Mountain Run takes place in Stony Mountain, MB, Canada at 150 Sellers Hill Road on August 22, 2026. The event offers three course options around the Stony Mountain quarry and awards a medal to all finishers.
- 2.5 K: one loop of the quarry, part of the Youth MRA Series, medal for finishers.
- 5 K: two loops of the quarry, part of the MRA Classic Run Series, medal for finishers.
- 10 K: four loops on the Stony Mountain Quarry, medal for finishers.
The run is included in several regional series, including the MRA Classic Run Series, the MATR Run series, and the Interlake Run Series. The Interlake Run Series lists Duck & Run on June 7, 2025; Stonewall Quarry Run on July 19, 2026; Islendingadagurinn at Gimli on August 2, 2026; and the Stony Mountain Run on August 22, 2026. Completing all four events awards the full medal.
This event functions as a fundraiser for Stony Mountain Trail and Parks Projects; funds raised are directed toward local trail projects. Registration fees vary by distance and registration window; early bird pricing applies from January 1 to June 30, with higher rates from July 1 to August 20.
