Stony Mountain Run 2026
The Stony Mountain Run takes place on August 22, 2026, in Stony Mountain, Manitoba, Canada (150 Sellers Hill Road). The event features three distances held on the Stony Mountain Quarry course, with repeated loops according to distance.
- 2.5 km: one loop of the quarry, medal for finishers.
- 5 km: two loops of the quarry, medal for finishers.
- 10 km: four loops of the quarry, medal for finishers.
The event is part of several regional race series, including the MRA Classic Run Series for the 2.5 km and 5 km, the Youth MRA Series, the MATR Run Series, and the Interlake Run Series. Completing all four events in the Interlake Run Series awards a complete medal.
The run also functions as a fundraiser for Stony Mountain trail and parks projects. Funds raised are directed to trail projects in the town and are acknowledged by the local community association.
