The Stony Mountain Run takes place on 22 August 2026 in Stony Mountain, Manitoba, Canada. The listed location is 150 Sellers Hill Road.
The event includes three main distances:
- 2.5 km Run / Walk, 1 loop of the quarry.
- 5 km Run, 2 loops of the quarry.
- 10 km Run, 4 loops of the quarry.
All 5 km and 10 km finishers receive a Stony Mountain Run medal. The 2.5 km is part of the Youth MRA Series and finishers also receive a medal as indicated. The event is part of several race series: the MRA Classic Run Series for the 2.5 km and 5 km distances, the MATR Run series, and the Interlake Run Series. The Interlake Run Series list includes four events with dates: Duck & Run (Sunday June 7, 2025), Stonewall Quarry Run (Saturday July 19, 2026), Islendingadagurinn at Gimli (Aug 2, 2026), and the Stony Mountain Run (Aug 22, 2026).
The run also functions as a fundraiser for Stony Mountain trail and parks projects, with funds raised directed toward local trail projects.
