Run Prix : Albert Park GP Circuit, Victoria Australia
Run Prix is a multi-distance road running event organised by Big Long Run Pty Ltd at the Albert Park GP Circuit. The course is measured and certified to AIMS standards and uses a 5.x kilometre circuit repeated across races.
Distances
- 21.1 km Half Marathon : four laps of the 5.x km circuit, finishes in pit lane
- 10 km Prix Race : almost two laps, requires a sub 52 minute qualifier
- Brooks 10 km Main Open : almost two laps, no qualifier required
- 5 km Main Open : single loop, starts and finishes in pit lane
Support and facilities include two drink stations supplying water and 32Gi sports drink each lap, first aid provided by Endurance Medical Services with a main base at the finish, and a bag minding area in Pit Building 2 using the tear off tag from race bibs. All finishers receive a medal.
Entries open and close on set dates and there is a qualification, refund and transfer policy with deadlines. The event operates under a limited road closure so time limits apply: Half Marathon 3 hour 30 minute limit, 10 km two hour limit, and 5 km one hour limit. Half Marathon participants should be able to maintain about 7 minutes per kilometre to avoid an alternate final lap. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
