About the race
Run Prix is a road running event at the Albert Park Grand Prix circuit in Victoria, Australia, with Race HQ in the Lakeside Stadium car park (approx 36 Aughtie Drive). The course is measured and certified to AIMS standards and uses closed roads on sections of the circuit.
Distances include:
- 21.1 km half marathon, four laps of the circuit.
- 10 km Prix Race, almost two laps; entry requires a sub 52 minute 10k qualifier completed within 12 months.
- Brooks 10 km main/open, almost two laps, no qualifier required.
- 5 km main/open, one lap, no qualifier required.
Prize structures are published for each distance, including significant prize money for the 10 km Prix Race and smaller prizes for other events. All finishers receive a medal. The event provides bag minding in a marquee near the finish, massage services, and first aid by Endurance Medical Services with a main base at the finish and roving staff. Drink stations with water and sports drink are located on Ross Gregory Drive and near the finish; multi-lap entrants can access both each lap. Facilities include multiple portaloo units at the finish area and additional units at a drink station.
