Run Prix - Albert Park, 20 September 2026
Run Prix is a road running event organised by Big Long Run Pty Ltd at the Albert Park Grand Prix circuit, with the finish line at 14 Aughtie Drive, Albert Park, Victoria. Entries close midnight Wednesday 16 September 2026.
Distances included
- 21.1 km Half Marathon, four laps, finishes in pit lane
- 10 km Prix Race, almost two laps of the circuit
- 10 km Brooks Main Open race, almost two laps of the circuit
- 5 km Main Open race, one lap, start and finish in pit lane
The course is measured and certified to AIMS standards. Drink stations provide water and 32Gi sports drink in cups; there is one near Albert Road Drive and one near the finish. Bag minding and race number pickup occur in Pit Building 2 near the finish. Timing uses a disposable chip attached to the race number.
The 10 km Prix Race has a qualification standard of sub 52 minutes achieved within 12 months; qualifier links such as race timing pages or activity platform links are accepted. Prize money is offered across events, including a notable pool for the 10 km Prix Race and specific podium amounts for the half marathon and 5 km events. All finishers receive a medal.
Logistics and rules include a mailing option for race numbers, name-on-bib deadlines, EMS first aid provision at the finish, restrictions on prams, and a no headphones rule for the 10 km Prix Race. Road closures affect parking; public transport and the number 96 tram are recommended. Cut-off and diversion arrangements apply, including a half marathon requirement to maintain about a 7:00 minutes per km pace to avoid an alternate last-lap route. The event also publishes a staged refund and transfer policy with deadlines and administrative fees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
