Brighton Beach Marathon 2026
The Brighton Beach Marathon takes place along the bayside coastline of Melbourne. The event features multiple distances conducted on the fully closed roads of Beach Road. The courses are AIMS-certified and follow a flat, fast route designed for participants aiming for personal bests or their first race finishes.
Participants can choose from four different distances:
- Marathon (42.2 km)
- Half Marathon (21.1 km)
- 10 km
- 5 km
The event includes an organized village located at Green Point in Brighton, providing facilities such as coffee and food stalls, massage services, and retail merchandise. All participants receive electronic timing, a race bib, a medal upon completion, and access to live tracking. Refreshment stations offering water, electrolytes, and gels are positioned along the course. Participants across all distances are provided with training plans and digital finishing certificates. Those completing the full marathon distance also receive a finisher t-shirt.
The event serves as a fundraising platform for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation. Registered participants have the option to fundraise for this official charity partner or other causes while preparing for the race. Pre-event race pack collection is available at specific locations in Huntingdale and Brighton in the days leading up to the competition.
