About the race
Run Prix is a road running event held on the Albert Park Grand Prix circuit with Race HQ at the Lakeside Stadium car park in Albert Park, Victoria, Australia. The event uses a measured and AIMS-certified course and provides medals to all finishers.
Event formats include:
- 21.1 km Half Marathon, four laps of the circuit.
- 10 km Prix Race, almost two laps of the circuit, with prize money for top finishers.
- Brooks 10 km Main / Open Race, almost two laps of the circuit.
- 5 km Main / Open Race, one loop.
The 10 km Prix Race requires a qualification time of sub 52 minutes achieved within 12 months and documented with a link or proof when requested. Prize pools are published for podium places across distances, including a total of $12,000 allocated to the 10 km Prix Race category and specified cash and voucher prizes for other races. Aid stations supply water and 32Gi sports drink; there are two main drink stations positioned on Ross Gregory Drive and near the Lakeside Stadium car park. Timing uses a disposable chip affixed to the race bib. Facilities listed include bag-minding in a marquee near the finish area, portaloos at several locations, and first aid provided by Endurance Medical Services.
