Event Overview
The Run Like A Knight is a running event on Saturday, March 21, 2026. It is hosted by Providence Classical Academy and takes place in Bossier City, Louisiana. The event is a community gathering and all proceeds will support the school's future athletic endeavors.
Events
The event includes multiple activities:
- 5k run
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run, which is split into separate events for boys and girls.
- Sleep In Supporter option for those who cannot attend but wish to contribute.
Course Details
The 5k route begins in the parking lot of Providence Classical Academy, goes through Brownlee Park, and returns to the school. The 1 Mile Kids Fun Run starts and ends at Providence Classical Academy.
Registration & Fees
Registration is available online, in person at Sportspectrum, or on race day starting at 6:30 a.m. at the academy. Prices increase after Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
- 5k: $30 early registration (includes a t-shirt), $35 late registration (March 5-20), and $40 on race day.
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run: $20 early registration (includes a t-shirt), $25 late or race-day registration.
- Sleep In Supporter: Priced the same as the 5k, with a t-shirt included until March 4.
Packet pickup for pre-registered runners is scheduled at Sportspectrum on March 19 and 20, and at the race site on the morning of the event from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.
Awards
Awards are presented for the 5k to the first overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top three finishers in multiple age groups. For the Kids Fun Run, awards go to the first three boys and first three girls to finish. Participants in the Fun Run do not qualify for 5k age group awards.
